Heads up on an Allison. I use a TransTech III machine for my customers. The transmission pressure out is much higher (60 psi) than other transmissions (20-25 psi) and most trans flush machines can't maintain a 1 quart in and 1 quart out rate at 60 psi. I had to get an adapter for my machine to be able to maintain the in/out rate.

I have seen many transmissions fail after 100,000' miles only to fail a 1000 miles after rebuild due to contaminants in the cooling system.
